ShorterWait uses only strictly necessary cookies. We do not use advertising cookies, third-party tracking cookies, or social media cookies of any kind.

Cookies we do not use

Why we do not show a cookie banner
UK law (the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations 2003, as amended) requires consent for cookies that are not strictly necessary. Because ShorterWait uses only strictly necessary cookies, we are not legally required to display a consent banner. We disclose our cookie use here in full in the interest of transparency.
If we ever introduce analytics or non-essential cookies in the future, we will update this policy and introduce a consent mechanism before doing so.
Analytics
We use Plausible Analytics, a privacy-respecting analytics service. Plausible does not use cookies, does not collect personal data, and does not track users across sites or devices. It records aggregate page view statistics only (pages visited, referral source, approximate country). All data is processed within the EU. Plausible is fully compliant with UK GDPR, PECR, and the EU ePrivacy Directive.

You can control and delete cookies through your browser settings. Note that disabling the strictly necessary cookies listed above will prevent you from logging in to your account. The Supabase authentication cookies are required for the login function to work.
